MP Train HNS
Description:
Missouri Pacific train HNS -- en route from Houston to the Southern Railway in New Orleans and then on to Birmingham as train 114 -- passes the MP's 'Four Deuces' at the south end of the Addis Yard. The train's motive power is really unusual, a pair of the Southern's six GP49's: 4603T and 4605H. These units were normally used in trios, so something must have happened to one of the train's locomotives.
