Description:  Built by the Altoona Juniata Shops and delievered in August of 1908, this class E-3d Atlantic eventually was upgraded to a E-3sd class unit. Here it heads up "The Local" as the note by photographer Warren W. McCleary, Jr. The loco was finally retired in November of 1935. Interesting note on the back also lists it as "an approved photo from the Lacaster Ry Loco. Hist. Soc." No date was given for this photo so an approximate one was used.
