| This is a special three coach commuter train painted in rainbow colours and depicting children and Table Mountain. It is inscribed 'A Metrorail, SARCC & British High Commission Project' (SARCC is the South African Rail Commuter Corporation Limited.) The train is usually utilised for charter trips only. The modified type 3 motor coach powering this train has only one set of sliding doors and three of the five windows between the motor compartment and the door set on the right side were removed.SAR Class 5M2A, SAR Type N-15-M, Horsepower 1216, Length over headstocks 60' 3 5/8" (18.380m) or later models 60' 10 7/8" (18.564m), Height 12'0" (3.660m), Width 9'3" (2.820m). |
