On my way to work, I spotted a clear signal for a northbound at Shobe Road. As I was setting up, I noticed the rainbow to the west. It was a race to see if the train or the rain would arrive first. The rain won, but it wasnt bad enough to ruin the shot. Ive been wanting to get a photo like this for a long time. After this experience, I have a better understanding of how perfect the timing has to be to get a moving train with a rainbow. The sun light dissappeared and the rain poured after the locos passed. UP #6440 leads under the bow. |
