FSF. Here is the second of two duplicate 35mm color slides via Al Chione that were taken in Altoona, Pennsylvania, in August of 1964. The photographer is not identified. Prominent here is Pennsylvania Railroad engine #9724, a BF-16 built by Baldwin-Lima-Hamilton in March of 1951, rated at 1,600 horsepower, and retired in July of 1966 after just 15 years of revenue service. It's about to pass under the 4th Street Footbridge pulling a train of empty hopper cars that's heading up the Allegheny Mountains to Gallitzin and the coal mines of Western Pennsylvania.
