The train receives clearance right across the CSX at Quincy so I went straight down to the high bridge where the tracks cross the Great Miami River. Unfortunately, southbound are almost impossible to shoot across this bridge, and southbounds are usually the only trains that run in daylight on this section of the railway, so I had to settle for a simple shot of the part of the bridge that can be seen right at CR 73. No traffic came through while I was waiting, but of course, a nice yellow school bus decided to show up as the train crossed. |
