While waiting for CSX trains I heard the IORY dispatcher come over the radio and give a TA to IORY 3488 south at Lima so I was flooded with relief that I hadnt missed the LSL. So, I began following the tracks north. I got just north of Uniopolis when I saw a headlight, so I turned right back around and drove to just south of Saint Johns. I set up shop at Geyer Road and seconds later I heard the roar of EMD Prime Movers. Then a K3LA. Then I felt the feeling of shock, as around the corner popped the BN Painted SD40-2. I had completely forgotten that IORY 3488 was the engine that was still painted in BN paint. This just made my chase about 100 times more exciting, and important. The chase was on! |
