Glad to see some of the SD70Macs back in service, it sure gets boring with only Gevos and ACes. Here BNSF 8871 shoves on the rear of an empty UCEX coal bucket (E RTRNAM) as it passes the west siding switch signals at Gibb on the BNSF Hannibal Subdivision. The siding was lengthened a few years ago to help longer trains meet, i.e. coal trains. It also gives the UCEX coal trains destined for the Machens Power Plant a place to park with out breaking the train over crossings. |
