| While I don't support vandalism, it would seem in this instance, I accidentally did - but not intentionally. Only after back home and processing did I actually see the "Someone Take My Picture!" scrawled in the 'talk bubble' (Stranger still - yesterday saw a covered hopper with large, fancy text smeared across the livery: "Artists Making Foamers Mad" - Funny how each person has their own take on history: I think I'm preserving it for future generations by recording livery and rail-side views that are too quickly disappearing; another views vandalism as 'art.' Yup, if said 'artist' had a yard, you don't think he'd be the one upset about the neighbor's dog applying 'art' to it, do you? (And the dog doo can be cleaned easier than permanently destroying private property... guess the more proper idea would be others spray painting his car, house, etc. Don't get me wrong - I still thought it was funny; only afterward you start to wonder about all the other implications.) |
