Stored IC RPO's at Ballyard, Miss.
When these cars were placed here in the late 1970s, they were still in the IC maroon/orange livery with orange stripes. At that time, there were upwards of 20 as I recall. Now, only these four remain. At one time, the IC track split at Ballyard, with an eastern line heading to Satartia, Yazoo City and on to Greenwood. The western leg followed the Mississippi River to Rolling Fork, Anguilla, Hollandale, Leland, Cleveland and Clarksdale. At Clarksdale, the two lines reconnected. Now, all of the tracks are gone.
