| The 6324 was one of 21 former Southern Railway SD24's which the Illinois Central Gulf purchased and eventually rebuilt into SD20's, and at least some of these units ran around on the ICG like this until they went through Paducah shop. The 6324 was remanufactured into SD20 2019 in October 1980. |
