TV 7 four motors  Contributor's Pick!
Conrail had a lot of 4 axle power, which made sense here on the Water Level Route, which, as the name implies, had virtually no grades. Even as it went on a 6 axle spree, acquiring several hundred C40-8s and SD60s of a couple of variations, it ran a lot of its van trains with 4 motors, as we see on TV 7 with 68 cars here at Wanakah, west of Buffalo.
