As the locals refer to it, "behind the Coke Plant" (Coca -Cola Bottling) is a breakwater on Lake Winnebago that many people fish from. The old CNW line to Green Bay also runs there. Here a CN maniline freight runs through, and enters the south end of the yard at Oshkosh. The black specks are swarming lake flies that appear every spring. |
