One of my favorite GE locomotives. Do you know the destination/origination of #143? Nice shot!

#143 originated in Atlanta and terminated in Jacksonville, picking up and setting off in Macon and Valdosta. I would speculate that the lone intermodal car was bad ordered and set off one of the hot pig trains the previous day and Southern has repaired the car and is now trying to get it to Jacksonville as quickly as possible. Pigs trains for Jax left Atlanta around midnight and the wee hours. #143 left Atlanta around mid morning.
