UP 2533,OCTOBER 1992.  Contributor's Pick!
You will not find mainline coal trains being led by locomotive consists such as this anymore. Back in the early 1990's it was still possible to get a GE C30-7 on the point leading a unit coal train on the Union Pacific. Here 2533 is on the point of a loaded coal train off the Utah Railway at Provo along Union Pacific's Provo Subdivision (Now Sharp Subdivision) at the Highway 6 Overpass.
