No transfer caboose here. When the need reducedfor having to have a longer caboose body for housing crews when not in service some roads, like the MoPac, chose to save money by buying cabs with shorter bodies... hense the baywindow. Transfer cabs simply had a desk and some chairs and were used by the rear brakeman to restore switches to their proper position as the runs passed through them.
