Fifty-six-seat coach 5656 was manufactured by Budd as New York Central 2928, and it retained the same number on the Penn Central. It was one of 60 cars (NYC 2900-2959) built in 1946-47, and 52 of them went to Amtrak as the 5630-5635 and 5640-5685. (approximate month) |
