| DRGW 3129, built in 1983 with sister locomotive 3130 as wreck replacement locomotives for two other DRGW GP40-2s. These two were the last GP40s built for Rio Grande, and 9 years after the previous order in 1974. The two 1983 models are externally more similar to the GP50 on the conductor side as seen here, unique to the this locomotive and the former 3130. This locomotive has since recieved a full Union Pacific repaint. |
