Third Photo Down: Shown here is PRR engine #3931, the FF-1 (1-C-C-1) electric built in Juniata in April of 1917, rated at 4,000 horsepower, and retired in April of 1940. Fourth Photo Down: Shown here is PRR engine #4999, the R-1 (2-D-2) electric built by the Baldwin Locomotive Works as number "4800" in September of 1934, rated at 5,000 horsepower, renumbered "4899" in November of 1934, renumbered "4999" in March of 1940, and retired in October of 1956. |
