Photo Caption: "GG1's prepare to move Pennsy's TT1 out of Kearny, N.J." Shown here (R to L) is Pennsylvania Railroad engine #4804 and another unit whose road number is not recorded. Both are GG-1 (2-C-C-2) electrics. #4804 was constructed by General Electric in June of 1935, rated at 4,620 horsepower, and retired in June of 1966 after 31 years of faithful service. |
