Atlanta Rails General This is one cool trestle, i hear its the largest wooden trestle in the US. Awesome shot and catch! 4/28/2010 11:24:14 PM
William H. Davis Jr. General Thanks Nikos, It took all day to get this shot. I started chasing the ABS in Birmingham early in the morning. It took at least 10 hours to finally get to where I could shoot the train on the trestle. I'd say another hour & I would've ran out of light. Glad I was finally able to get this shot myself. I've been wanting the shot for years, but never wanted to spend all day just chasing the ABS & missing other good consists on NS, now that I have the shot I can concentrate on getting the ATN street running & coming over the trestle in Gadsden 4/28/2010 11:33:44 PM

Joe Hill General I don't know if I will ever get used to this paint scheme, but I certainly love the location!!! 5/19/2010 12:02:43 PM
William H. Davis Jr. General Definitely a great location. I'm not a fan of ABS'S scheme either, but it's better than ATN'S/LTEX'S plain black for sure. ABS'S scheme is cleaner/shiny. I also like the fact that it's older SD40-2'S, which is by far better than GE widecab junk 5/19/2010 11:46:28 PM
