Bayline power on the Chattahoochee Bay
A rare appearance on the Chattahoochee Bay at Hilton GA. NS delivered a coal train to the Chattahoochee Bay the night before and the Chattahoochee Bay used locomotives of The Bayline ,a fellow GWI road, to move the coal from Hilton to Dothan and then to Panama City. Seen here as power are 2 former GTW GP40's bracketing a slug formerly used on another GWI road, the Chattahoochee Industrial RR. They are in the process of gathering about 90 coal loads.

David Stewart General Great catch & Nice shot! The slug is a former L&N RS3 rebuilt by L&N in the 70s. 1/3/2009 10:05:59 AM
