Even the WABASH blue looked good on the early combined NW system, before all NS black.. Even the current NS 4610 looks good!

NW 8077 data: Built as N&W 8077, C-30-7, 9-1979, serial 42369.

NW 8077 was one of 2 engines painted in the original N&W Passenger Red-and-Gold scheme for use in office car and excursion service. The other loco was an SD40, but I don't remember the # offhand. She was pretty, and filled in for 611 and 4501 on a couple of occasions.

Actually there were more than two. SD40-2 6175 was joined by C30-7's 8010, 8076, 8077, 8078, 8079, and 8080.
