At some later date they painted a gold cheatline above the windows of the ex-C&O coach trailing the Geep.

Later on most of these coaches were relegated to the CNJ main line (Raritan Valley line) and the CNJ used the legacy Great Northern/Burlington Northern coaches almost exclusively on the Bay Head runs.
