| ATSF 81543 is part of a BNSF tie train headed east through Burlington, IA. The modified backhoe inside, I think, is called a Herzog "Cartopper". It has a special attachment on the bucket and stabilizer feet that hook over the sides of the hopper and keep it up there. It also has a grapple on the backhoe for picking up ties. |
