Built by Burnham, Wms & Co (Baldwin predecessor) in 12/1903, nee-Erie 4-6-0 ten wheeler #963. The loco was rebuilt by the Erie Shops to class G-15A with new piston valves and Baker V.G.The Erie shops rebuilt the class with superheating, smaller drivers and larger cylinders to improve tractive effort. It was later sold in December of 1944 to NYSW as their #963. Unfortunately, the loco and its two sister units only lasted a year on the NYSW roster before being sold for scrap in September of 1945. Rebuilt Specs - serial # 23411, G-15A class, 68" drivers, 21x26" cylinders, 200 psi boiler pressure, engine weight of 185,210 lb,and tractive effort of 28,665 lb.
