Description: |
Director of Heritage Operations Willis Kilpatrick waves from the vestibule of the new KCS theater car Arthur E Stilwell on train M-NOKC. It's returning from refitting work done at Pete Messina's car shop in New Orleans, and is headed to MidAmerica in Kansas City, MO. At this time, it was numbered KCS 2005. It was changed to 1859 and a later acquisition from RCA, the dome car Monterrey received that number. This car was ex Amtrak 5671, ex PC 2955(?), ex NYC 2955. |
