As Manchester Yard transitioned after the opening of Rice Yard in Waycross, Georgia, all of the equipment and track in this photo slowly vanished. For years, a couple of the old box cars on the right remained for storage and use by the Roadway Department, but those cars, too, eventually left the property. |
