Description:  Self-portrait. After catching the train from the Central Avenue overpass, I was able to head up to Bowen Road, and grab a few more pics of Train 393 as it pushed its consist back onto the CN Duff Yard tracks. It's really getting late in the day. That's me in the long shadows at bottom left, after pushing through the bushes for a pic or two. No tripod today. I'm standing on the edge of a rock cut. One false step and it's a nasty little 10 foot fall, with nothing but crunchy rocks for a landing area.

Description:  Only once has this ever happened. Dark, cloudy, overcast all morning, then the sun actually popped out for one 15-second period - and I just happened to be at the yard entrance off Canby Street in Port Robinson to snap a pic of Train 421 as it pushed back into the yard - with the sun lighting up the train's power just long enough for a quick pic.

Description:  Here - a very rare Train 422 Extra - heading north into Port Robinson at mid-day, is just approaching the Biggar Road crossing. With the sun beaming off the tall grasses, the strong winds blew them just enough out of the way to create a little frame around the locomotives. Kinda neat!
